A: If your current hosting provider can no longer meet the requirements of your website, or if you go through continuous network downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the help desk staff to respond back to you, it might be a clever idea to change your web hosting provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your websites along with your databases from your present provider to your future provider. At Persistent Faith Studios, we understand that this can be hard and time–consuming. That is why we will accomplish all that for you at no cost!Our highly capable technical team members will migrate your website content from your present web hosting provider to us. Our techs have a lot of experience migrating websites and are able to handle everything – from a traditional WordPress–powered blog or Joomla^™–driven site, to a very elaborate, custom–built web app.

A: There are plenty of aspects to consider – the overall number of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the current workload of our web site migration experts, etc. However, we do try to carry out all website migrations in a 48–hour time period. Less sizeable web sites are migrated much faster – usually in less than 24 hours.

A: We do not collect any private information. We will need, however, the login information for your current hosting account and the name of the website that you would like to transfer.

A: Before we can begin the migration of your hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share exactly the same information you have given to your old host. We’ve also got a very rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how sensitive information is handled.

A: Nope. Your website will remain reachable online during the transfer. As soon as everything is done on our end, we will let you know so that you can examine it and check for any problems. If everything is fine, all you will need to do is update your domain’s DNS resource records.

A: While we migrate your website content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the transfer at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: Yeah. We support all conventional Linux–driven web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based web hosting platforms, because we do not offer Windows web hosting solutions ourselves.Furthermore, we do not support proprietary website building and administration user interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
